The 24-year-old man riding was ejected from the bike and was transported to the hospital with major injuries

San Diego, Calif. – A man was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in the Oferrall neighborhood of San Diego on Thursday evening.
The accident happened at around 4:43 p.m. in the area of Skyline Drive and O'Meara Street, according to the San Diego Police Department.
A 61-year-old man was driving a silver 2012 Mercedes-Benz C250 north on O'Meara Street and was making a left-hand turn at the intersection and struck a gray and black 2023 Suzuki 750 motorcycle.
The 24-year-old man riding the motorcycle was ejected from the bike.
The man suffered major injuries including a brain bleed and a collapsed lung. The man also sustained pelvic, femur, and wrist injuries.
The driver of the car and his 64-year-old female passenger were unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
