Man In His 40s Killed in Sun Valley Collision on 170 Freeway near Roscoe Boulevard
Sun Valley, California (October 14, 2021) – A man, believed to be in his 40s, was killed Thursday morning in a traffic collision in the Sun Valley neighborhood in Los Angeles, according to authorities.
The deadly two-car wreck happened at about 5:00 a.m. on 170 Freeway near Roscoe Boulevard, the California Highway Patrol reported.
According to the CHP, two vehicles collided in the southbound lane of 170 Freeway.

The man died in the crash. His name has not been released pending notification of relatives.
Police closed three lanes of the freeway for about four hours as the investigation took place.
Further details about the crash were not immediately provided.
The collision remains under investigation.
