Farmworker Killed, 8 People Injured Fowler Car Crash on Fowler and Lincoln Avenue

Fresno County, California (April 15, 2022) – A man is dead, and eight other people are nursing injuries following a two-vehicle crash at an intersection near the city of Fowler, according to a CHP report.
The deadly crash happened at about 6:40 a.m. today at the intersection of Fowler and Lincoln Avenues.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a silver Chevy Astro Van carrying eight farm workers failed to stop on Lincoln Avenue. He collided with a southbound GMC Terrain at the intersection with Fowler Avenue.
The van overturned following the collision, and one farmworker was ejected and killed. The victim, whose identity has not been made public, was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Authorities say seven other people in the van and the GMC driver sustained minor to moderate injuries.
No additional information regarding the crash was provided.
The incident remains under investigation.
