35-Year-Old Man Killed in Balboa Park Crash on Pershing Drive
Balboa Park, California (September 19, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Saturday night electric scooter accident that killed a 35-year-old man in Balboa Park, San Diego.
The deadly accident occurred at about 10:55 p.m., on September 18, in the area of 2850 Pershing Drive.
According to the police, the man was riding a Link scooter in the area when a 2012 Mazda 3 sedan, driven by a 17-year-old girl headed in the same direction, struck him in the bike lane.
Sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
