44-Year-Old Jose Mora Victim of Mission Hills Accident on Highway 118 near 405 Freeway
Mission Hills, California (January 25, 2022) – Authorities identified the man who died Monday in a Mission Hills crash as Jose Mora.
The 44-year-old man died in the collision that took place at about 7:30 a.m. on westbound Highway 118, near the transition road to the 405 Freeway.
Two other men were taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Reportedly, a driver of a sedan was changing a tire when the driver of a white cargo truck crashed into the sedan.
One person got trapped inside the cargo truck and needed extrication.
First responders pronounced Mora dead at the scene. Two other men were taken to the hospital in serious condition.
The crash left several lanes of the highway closed to allow a rescue operation and an investigation.
