Bakersfield, CA. – A man died after being struck by a car on Sunday night in southwest Bakersfield.
According to Bakersfield Police Department, the accident happened around 11:14 p.m. in the area of Old River Road and White Oak Drive.
A man was driving a silver Infiniti coupe southbound on Old River Road when he lost control, veered off the roadway, and hit a tree.
The man exited the vehicle and was hit by a blue Honda sedan traveling southbound on Old River Road.
The unidentified man was killed in the accident.
The Honda driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
