Police say the 51-year-old Vista woman driving the car and her 52-year-old male passenger were taken to the hospital

Bonsall, CA. – A man was killed in a wrong0way crash involving a suspected drunk driver on Sunday night in Bonsall, San Diego.
The fatal collision happened around 1:24 p.m. on Gopher Canyon Road near Hoxie Ranch Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
29-year-old Janely Magali Bautista, of Bonsall, was driving a brown Chevrolet Silverado eastbound on Gopher Canyon Road when she turned into the westbound lane and collided with a white Toyota Camry.
Police say the 51-year-old Vista woman driving the car and her 52-year-old male passenger were taken to the hospital.
Sadly, the unidentified man died while receiving treatment.
Bautista was hospitalized with minor injuries. She was later arrested on suspicion of murder, felony driving under the influence and gross vehicular manslaughter.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
