Visalia, Calif. – A man was killed in a crash that happened in Visalia on Saturday afternoon, according to the authorities.
The incident happened near Mill Creek Parkway and McAuliff Street shortly after 4:30 p.m. December 30.
The Visalia Police Department said a vehicle was traveling east on Mill Creek Parkway when it crashed into the center divide and hit two men who were working on a disabled vehicle.
One man died at the scene following the crash.
The other driver was hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
The driver who hit the pedestrians was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
The crash is under investigation.
