Fresno County, CA – A 45-year-old man was killed early Wednesday morning in a hit-and-run accident in Sanger, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The deadly accident happened on July 30, 2025, on Jensen near Del Rey.
CHP said the man was walking eastbound, possibly on the road, when he was hit by a Toyota Avalon.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
The Avalon fled the scene after the accident. Officers said it had severe damage on its right side.
The CHP is investigating the accident. Anyone who sees the vehicle is asked to call the CHP.
