, CA. – A 45-year-old man was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Friday morning in Hanford.

The collision happened around 10:45 p.m. in the area of 12th Avenue and Flint Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A 26-year-old was driving a 2006 Chevrolet northbound on 12th Avenue when he failed to slow down for traffic and struck the rear of a 2012 Mazda driven by the 45-year-old man.

The impact of the collision sent the Mazda into the southbound lane where it collided head-on with an oncoming 2024 Mazda.

The 2006 Chevrolet continued to travel north and side-swiped another vehicle.

The unidentified driver of the 2012 Mazda was killed in the accident.
