According to CHP, a Buick was traveling northbound on Watt Avenue when it tried to overtake other vehicles and collided head-on with an oncoming truck

Sacramento, CA.- One person was killed in a crash that happened in Sacramento on Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck took place on South Watt Avenue near Florin Road at about 6:30 a.m.
According to CHP, a Buick was traveling northbound on Watt Avenue when it tried to overtake other vehicles and collided head-on with an oncoming truck.
The driver of the Buick was rushed to a hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The driver was only identified as a 40-year-old man.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
