San Diego, CA. – A 24-year-old man died after he was ejected from his car in a collision that happened late Sunday night in the Mt. Hope neighborhood of San Diego.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident occurred around 11 p.m. in the area of 500 42nd Street.
Authorities said the San Diego man left his residence moments after shattering glass items within and drove southbound in a 2008 Mazda CX5.
Shortly after, the driver lost control of the car and collided with a parked 1995 Jeep Wrangler on the east curb line of 42nd Street. The car also hit three other cars parked in the area.
The man was ejected from the vehicle, sustaining severe injuries. Emergency personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
SDPD is investigating the accident.
