Indio, CA. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car on Tuesday night in Indio.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened around 11 p.m. on the southbound side of Highway 86 near Dillon Road.
The man was trying to cross Highway 86 on foot when he was hit by a Nissan Altima.
The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
