Kent, WA. – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident in Kent on Thursday morning.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened around 2:30 a.m. in the area of Pacific Highway South and South 240th Street.
The man was crossing a road in the area and was struck by a car.
The Medics performed life-saving measures on the 39-year-old man, but he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The driver of the SUV fled the scene but was later arrested on suspicion of vehicular homicide.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
