Man Dies After Being Trapped Under Skid-Steer Loader on W 81st St and S Normandie Ave in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, California (August 2, 2022) – According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, a man died in an industrial accident that happened Tuesday morning in South LA's Manchester Square.
The incident was reported at around 9:45 a.m. on 1414 West 81st Street at South Normandie Avenue.
As per the report, a man was attempting to unload a skid-steer loader from a vehicle when it fell upon him.
The man was trapped beneath it, fatally injured.
At the time of the report, it was unclear which site or company the victim was working for.
Cal-OSHA and the Los Angeles County coroner responded to the scene.
An investigation is ongoing.
