A 2-year-old boy in the Chevrolet was taken to Valley Children's Hospital in Madera for treatment
Merced, CA. – A 22-year-old man was killed in a head-on collision that left two people, including a two-year-old child, injured in Merced on Thursday evening.
The accident happened around 4:30 p.m. on Canal School Road, just north of Highway 33, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Seaside man was driving a 2017 Nissan south on Canal School Road when it drifted into the opposite lanes and collided head-on with a 2002 Chevrolet.
The unidentified man was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
A 22-year-old woman riding in the Nissan and two adults in the Chevrolet were transported to the hospital for treatment.
