Police said a 31-year-old man was riding a motorcycle that collided with a vehicle in the area

Hayward, CA – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident that took place at an intersection in Hayward on Monday evening, according to the Hayward Police Department.
The wreck took place at Jackson and Grand streets shortly after 6 p.m. April 1.
Police said a 31-year-old man was riding a motorcycle that collided with a vehicle in the area.
The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The other driver, a 55-year-old man, was not injured and stayed at the scene.
It's unclear whether impairment was a factor in the accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
