32-Year-Old Man Killed in San Diego Motorcycle Accident on First Avenue and Ash Street

San Diego, California (August 20, 2022) – A 32-year-old man was killed in a Friday morning motorcycle accident that left one other person injured in San Diego, authorities said.
The deadly motorcycle accident occurred at about 2: a.m., on August 19, on First Avenue and Ash Street.
According to the officials, the 32-year-old motorcyclist was on a Harley Davidson traveling northbound on First Avenue at a high rate of speed when he allegedly ran the red light at Ash Street.
Unfortunately, the rider reportedly broadsided a Toyota Prius that was headed westbound on Ash Street.
Sadly, the 32-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The 38-year-old Prius driver was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
