Los Angeles, Calif. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle on a street in Palmdale on Monday evening.
At around 7:42 p.m. on January 8, the California Highway Patrol received reports of a collision involving a pedestrian at 90th Street East and East Avenue Q10.
Authorities determined that the man was crossing a street in the area and was struck by a blue Mini Cooper.
The man was taken to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office withheld the name of the victim pending notification of the next of kin.
An investigation into the pedestrian accident is ongoing.
