Portland, Ore – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car Sunday evening near an intersection in Southeast Portland, according to the Portland Police Bureau.
The incident was reported around 5:44 p.m. on Southeast Foster Road and 97th Avenue.
Police said a man was hit by a car for an unknown reason.
First responders found the pedestrian already deceased. The victim was only identified as a man.
Investigators shut down Southeast Woodstock Boulevard between Southeast 97th Avenue and Southeast 101st Avenue as they worked the scene.
