Phoenix, AZ.- A man was hit and killed by a vehicle early Tuesday morning in Phoenix, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The wreck took place on 35th Avenue and Buckeye Road at around midnight.
A man was reportedly hit by a vehicle in the area while attempting cross the roadway outside of the crosswalk.
The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
