Police said a 72-year-old man was hit by a vehicle in the area under unclear circumstances
Palm Springs, CA.- An elderly man was killed in a car accident that took place in Palm Springs on Sunday night, according to the Palm Springs Police Department.
The collision took place on E. Vista Chino and Volturno Road at about 8:10 p.m. December 1.
Police said a 72-year-old man was hit by a vehicle in the area under unclear circumstances.
The victim, whose name was not immediately released, died at the scene of the crash.
The involved driver reportedly stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The investigation is ongoing.
