Man Killed in Phoenix Pedestrian Accident at 7th Street and Baseline Road

, Arizona (September 16, 2022) – A man died after being struck by a car in Phoenix on Friday morning.

According to Phoenix Police Department, the accident happened at around 9:15 a.m. at the intersection of 7th Street and Baseline Road.

A man was hit by a car at the intersection in unclear circumstances.

Fire crews responded to the man to a nearby hospital where he died while receiving treatment.

His name was not immediately disclosed.

The woman driving the car stayed at the scene and remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

The intersection was temporarily closed as officers examined the scene.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
