Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Foresthill Road near Drivers Flat Road

Placer County, California (April 4, 2022) – A Foresthill man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Sunday afternoon in Placer County.
The fatal collision happened on Foresthill Road near Drivers Flat Road at around 3:30 p.m., according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The man was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle eastbound when the driver of a westbound Hyundai Sonata veered into oncoming traffic and struck the rider.
The rider, identified only as a 45-year-old Foresthill man, was killed in the accident.
The 47-year-old Sacramento man who was driving the Hyundai was hospitalized with minor injuries.
More details about the crash were not immediately provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
