Turlock, CA. – A man died after being struck by a vehicle on Monday evening in Turlock.
The fatal pedestrian accident happened on Golden State Boulevard near Golf Road at around 7:35 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 44-year-old driver was driving a pickup truck northbound on Golden State Boulevard when he struck the 63-year-old man.
The unidentified man was taken to an area hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
