The man was driving a Toyota Camry eastbound on West Tribal Road when he collided with a Ford Expedition

San Diego, CA. – A 19-year-old man died in a car accident that happened on Friday night in Valley Center.
The fatal collision happened around 8:17 p.m. at the intersection of Valley Center Road and West Tribal Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The man was driving a white Toyota Camry eastbound on West Tribal Road when he collided with a white Ford Expedition.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office.
The driver of the Ford Expedition, a 34-year-old man from Ranchita, was unhurt. He was later arrested for DUI and taken into custody at the Vista Detention Facility.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
