1 Killed, 3 Injured in Collision at Katella Avenue and Los Alamitos Boulevard in Los Alamitos
Los Alamitos, California (March 4, 2022) – A man and a dog were killed in a multiple-vehicle collision that left at least three other people injured in Los Alamitos, on Thursday evening.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at around 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of Katella Avenue and Los Alamitos Boulevard.
Eight vehicles were involved in the crash. The circumstances of the crash were not immediately determined.
Police said a man and a dog who were in the same vehicle were killed in the crash.
Two other people were trapped inside their vehicles and had to be extricated.
Two were taken to the hospital while the third person declined treatment.
More details about the incident were not available.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
