, California (September 22, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision involving a suspected drunk driver in Orange on Tuesday night, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.

The collision happened at about 10:15 p.m. September 1, in the area of The City Drive and the off-ramp.

The Huntington man was riding a motorcycle when he allegedly ran a red light and crashed into the right rear passenger side of an SUV driven by 50-year-old Eric Granit.

The unidentified rider was killed in the accident.

Granit was suspected of driving under the influence and was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
