Man Killed in Rosamond Crash on Highway 14 at Rosamond Boulevard
Rosamond, California (October 15, 2021) – A man was killed Thursday evening in a traffic collision involving a semi-truck in Rosamond, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly crash occurred at around 6:58 p.m. Thursday, October 14, on Highway 14 at Rosamond Boulevard.
CHP said a white Chevrolet Colorado on Highway 14 when, for unknown reasons, it rear-ended a semi-truck. The impact caused the Chevrolet to overturn several times.
A red pickup truck then ran over the wheel of the Chevrolet. First responders found the Chevrolet in the center median area with and missing its two front wheels.

A man who was riding as a passenger in the backseat of the Chevrolet was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
Further details about the collision were not immediately provided.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
