, California (November 13, 2021) – A suspected drunk driving crash has claimed the life of a 51-year-old Santa Rosa man Friday night in Santa Rosa and left a woman injured, according to a police report.

The collision occurred in the area of Corporate Center Parkway and Challenger Way at around 8:43 p.m. November 12.

A preliminary investigation found that a red Jeep entered Corporate Center Parkway from a nearby convenience store and the driver traveled southbound in the northbound lanes.

One Killed in Santa Rosa Crash 

The Jeep then collided with an oncoming white Ford SUV.

The driver of the Jeep, a 51-year-old Santa Rosa man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The other driver, a 37-year-old Santa Rosa woman, was taken to a hospital with major injuries and was in stable condition.

Police said the driver of the Jeep is suspected to have been drinking alcohol just prior to the collision.

Further details on the incident were not released. The collision remains under investigation.
