Petaluma, Calif. – A man was killed and a woman was seriously injured in a DUI traffic collision on Roblar Road Saturday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly crash happened at about 5:13 p.m. on Roblar Road west of Stony Point Road.
According to the CHP, a woman was driving a Volvo SUV westbound on Roblar Road when she veered into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a Toyota truck, killing the man operating the truck.
The Volvo driver sustained major injuries and was rushed to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. She was later arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The incident remains under investigation.

The fatal crash happened at about 5:13 p.m. at the intersection of Roblar Road and Stony Point Road.
According to the CHP, a white Volvo SUV and a white pickup truck were involved in the crash.
Authorities say the Volvo was driving recklessly, passing vehicles and running red lights prior to the traffic collision.
One of the vehicles overturned following the crash.
