San Diego, CA. – A 38-year-old man was seriously hurt in a hit-and-run accident that happened Wednesday night near an intersection in San Diego's University City neighborhood.
The incident occurred around 10:20 p.m. at La Jolla Village Drive and Town Centre Drive near the west crosswalk.
The man was crossing the roadway when an unknown car struck him and fled the scene.
The pedestrian sustained major injuries, including multiple abrasions, a fractured tibia and ribs. The patient was hospitalized in unknown condition.
No description of the driver or car was given.
