Bicyclist Hospitalized after Crash on Highway 255 near V Street in Arcata
Arcata, California (August 8, 2022) – A bicyclist was injured after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday evening in Arcata.
The California Highway Patrol says the bicycle accident happened at around 6:21 p.m. on Highway 255 near V Street.
A man was riding a bicycle on the roadway when he was struck by a car.
The bicyclist was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
