Bicyclist Seriously Injured in Crash on R Avenue near East Fifth Street in National City
San Diego, California (July 25, 2022) – A bicyclist was seriously injured after being struck by a car on Monday morning in National City.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the bicycle accident happened at around 6:30 a.m. on R Avenue near East Fifth Street.
A man was riding a bicycle on a residential street when he was struck by a car.
Paramedics responded to the incident and rendered aid to the bicyclist.
The bicyclist was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
