San Francisco, CA. – A pedestrian was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after he was struck by a vehicle Friday afternoon in the North Beach neighborhood of San Francisco.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, the incident occurred around 4:12 p.m. at Bay Street and Columbus Avenue.
Paramedics responded to the scene and took the man to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver involved remained at the scene.
Police officers do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
