At Least 1 Suffers Severe Injuries in Escondido Car Crash on 25805 Valley Center Road
Escondido, California (July 12, 2022) – A 56-year-old Valley Center was severely injured in a rollover crash that occurred on Tuesday morning in Escondido, the California Highway Patrol said.
The collision occurred at around 9:05 a.m. in the 25805 block of Valley Center Road near Ridge Ranch Road.
A 56-year-old Valley Center male was driving a Lamborghini in the #1 southbound lane of the highway when it collided with a blue BMW M5 being driven by a 60-year-old male in the #2 lane.
The impact of the collision caused both vehicles to overturn in the southbound lanes.
The driver of the Lamborghini suffered major injuries in the collision and was flown to an area hospital for treatment.
The driver of the BMW suffered minor injuries in the accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Alcohol and/or drugs are not suspected to have contributed to the collision.
The crash forced the closure of the roadway as authorities investigated.
