Reportedly, officers responded to the scene and found a man down on the tracks just above the overpass after being struck by the train.
Fresno County, Calif. – A man was struck and killed by an Amtrak train near Wishon and Maroa Avenues in Central Fresno Tuesday, according to a police report.
The collision happened at about 7 p.m. on January 16.

The incident remains under investigation.
