1 Suffers Minor Injuries in Manteca Car Accident on Highway 99 near French Camp Road On-Ramp
Manteca, California (January 17, 2022) – One person was hurt in a rollover crash that happened Friday evening on a highway in Manteca, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck occurred at about 6:22 p.m. on southbound Highway 99, just north of the French Camp Road on-ramp.
A white Dodge Caravan and a black car collided for unknown reasons. The Dodge overturned onto its side. One of the vehicles went about 10 feet off the roadway, destroying about 30 feet of metal chain-link fence and two posts.
Paramedics responded to the scene to help a driver who suffered lacerations to the eye.
That driver's car was released to their sister at the scene.
Authorities are investigating to establish the cause of the crash.
