Minor Injuries Suffered in Manteca Car Collision on Highway 99 near Lathrop Road Off-Ramp
Manteca, California (October 4, 2021) – Minor injuries were sustained in a multi-car accident that took place Sunday afternoon on a highway in Manteca, the California Highway Patrol said.
Three vehicles were involved in the crash just after 2:00 p.m. on northbound Highway 99, just north Lathrop Road off-ramp.
One of the cars involved in the wreck spun out and went through a fence on the right-hand shoulder, stopping on Frontage Road.
The other two vehicles were in the center divider.
Firefighters responding to the scene said minor injuries were sustained in the accident but did not mention the number of patients.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to offer medical aid to the motorists.
At least one of the cars was towed away from the scene.
CHP is investigating the collision.
