2 People Injured in Manteca Crash at Airport Way and Nile Road
Manteca, California (October 24, 2021) – Two people were hospitalized Monday afternoon after a traffic collision involving four vehicles in Manteca, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The multi-vehicle wreck happened at around 2:23 p.m. Monday, October 18, at the intersection of Airport Way and Nile Road, near Highway 120.
CHP said a white Kia Sportage, a black Nissan, and two other vehicles collided at the Manteca intersection.
After the collision, one of the vehicles veered off the roadway and came to a rest in a nearby field.
2 Hospitalized after Airport Way Accident
Two people were taken to the Doctors Hospital with unspecified injuries. The identities of the patients and their conditions were not immediately disclosed.
According to CHP, one of the involved drivers was arrested and booked into jail.
The intersection of Airport Way and Nile Road was blocked due to the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
