Poway, CA.– Two of the five people killed in a traffic accident that occurred in Poway on Friday afternoon have been identified as Marcial Rivera Solorio, 59, and Emmanuel Rivera Abarca, 31.
According to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department, the crash occurred on State Route 67 near Iron Mountain Drive on Friday, July 18.
Three vehicles reportedly collided in the area and one of them, which careened into a ravine, sparked a brush fire.
Five people died in the accident.
Solorio and his son Abarca were among the parties killed in the crash.
The fire was quickly put out by the responding firefighters.
Authorities are working to determine the cause of the accident.
