Margarito Trinidad Seriously Injured in Napa County Collision on Silverado Trail
Napa County, California (July 8, 2022) – Margarito Trinidad, 47, of Napa, sustained major injuries in a two-vehicle collision that occurred in Napa County on Wednesday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol said.
The wreck happened on the Silverado Trail, south of Wappoo Hill Road, at about 3:25 p.m. on July 6.
CHP said David Massaro, 34, of Sebastopol, was driving a 2014 Volkswagen south on the Silverado Trail when he crashed into the left side of a 2002 Honda pulling out of a driveway.
Trinidad was the driver of the Honda and sustained major injuries.
Massaro and his passenger, Lauren Barrett, 31, of Sebastopol, also suffered major injuries in the collision.
The three patients were taken to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center for treatment.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
