Victorville, CA – Maria Alvarado and Ricardo Dawkins were identified as victims killed in a DUI traffic collision on Green Tree Boulevard in Victorville Sunday afternoon.
The incident was reported at around 4:58 p.m. on June 15 on Green Tree Boulevard and Hesperia Road, according to the Victorville Police Department.
Reportedly, a black Cadillac Escalade operated by Dawkins crossed into oncoming traffic and collided into a grey Acura TL driven by Alvarado. The police said a third vehicle was involved.
Alvarado was pronounced dead at the scene. Dawkins was rushed to hospital with severe injuries, where he later died.
No one in the third vehicle was injured.
No additional information about the incident was provided.
An investigation is underway.
