Maria Ramos Killed in Phoenix Accident on Indian School Road

Phoenix, Ariz.- The pedestrian who was hit and killed by a vehicle in Phoenix on Friday morning has been identified Maria Ramos, 59, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The collision occurred on Indian School Road near 42nd Street at about 6:30 a.m. February 16.
According to the report, Ramos was walking across Indian School Road outside of a crosswalk when she was hit by an eastbound car.
Ramos died at the scene following the crash.
Police said Ramos was also hit by a second car that left the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
