The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office says the Santa Rosa woman was killed in the accident
Santa Rosa, CA. – Maria Jimenez Rosas, 56, has been identified as the woman who died in a head-on collision early Monday morning in Santa Rosa.
The fatal collision happened around 5:40 a.m. on Guerneville Road near Laguna Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A vehicle was traveling on the highway when it drifted across the double yellow line and collided head-on with another oncoming car operated by Rosas.
The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office says the Santa Rosa woman was killed in the accident.
The driver of the second car was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
More details about the car accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
