San Diego County, CA – The authorities have identified the person who was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Dehesa Road in El Cajon on Saturday evening.
The San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office identified the deceased victim as Marie Anderson, a 60-year-old El Cajon woman.
The three-vehicle accident happened at about 6:45 p.m. on July 19 on Dehesa Road, east of Sloan Canyon Road.
A preliminary investigation revealed that Anderson was driving a 2018 Nissan Sentra west on Dehesa Road when, for unknown reasons, her car veered to the left into the path of an oncoming 2007 Honda Pilot near the intersection with Sloane Canyon Road, and the two vehicles collided.
The Nissan then crashed into an eastbound 2019 Ford F-150 pickup truck. The pickup truck overturned after the crash.
Anderson was pronounced at the scene.
The 77-year-old female driver of the Honda, the 42-year-old female driver of the F-150, and a passenger of the F-150 suffered minor injuries in the crash. All three patients were transported to the hospital, according to the CHP.
No additional information is available.

El Cajon, CA – At least one person was killed in a car collision near El Cajon on Saturday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened at about 6:49 p.m. on July 19, on Dehesa and Sloan Canyon roads.
A Honda Pilot and two other vehicles were involved in the accident that caused one of them to roll over.
At least one person died in the accident.
There was no update on the condition of the other parties involved.
The CHP is conducting an investigation into the collision.
