Mariesha Collins Killed, 5 Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision at Baseline Avenue and San Sevaine Road in Fontana
San Bernardino, California (December 12, 2021) – 55-year-old Mariesha Collins was killed in a Friday night traffic collision that left five other people injured in Fontana.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Baseline Avenue and San Sevaine Road at about 9:07 p.m., December 10.
A blue Infiniti Q50 was traveling west on Baseline at a high rate of speed when it struck a gray Volkswagen Jetta that was traveling north on San Sevaine.

Collins, a resident of Fontana, was driving the Volkswagen and was pronounced dead at the scene despite lifesaving measures by San Bernardino County Fire /Medics.
Five occupants of the Infiniti suffered moderate injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The Fontana Police Department's Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T) is investigating the crash.
