At Least 1 Injured in Mariposa County Crash on Highway 140 near Mt Bullion Cut Off Road
Mariposa County, California (February 7, 2022) – At least one person was injured in a traffic collision in Mariposa County on Saturday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on Highway 140, just west of the Mt Bullion Cut Off Road at around 7:08 p.m. February 5.
CHP said a Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System bus collided head-on with a black Nissan Xterra for unknown reasons.
The impact caused the Nissan to roll over.

Emergency crews responded to the scene of the incident and found one person with major injuries.
The patient was taken to a hospital for treatment. The condition of the patient was not immediately released.
The crash caused a closure of a section of Highway 140 for the investigation.
The CHP is handling the investigation.
