CHP said a white SUV and a black truck were involved in the accident
Santa Clarita, CA – The woman who died in a multi-vehicle collision in Santa Clarita late Saturday night has been identified by the Medical Examiner's Office.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on Sand Canyon Road and Sierra Highway at around 11:25 p.m. May 10.
CHP said a white SUV and a black truck were involved in the accident.
The truck was reportedly speeding just before the accident.
A woman, identified as Maritza Martinez, 30, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Four other parties involved in the crash were taken to a hospital for treatment.
Speed is suspected to have played a role in the crash, which remained under investigation.
