Glendale, AZ – A motorcyclist who was injured in a crash with a hit-and-run motorist in Glendale last week has succumbed to his injuries, according to the authorities.
Martin Hawkins, 61, died at a hospital on Monday after the accident that took place in the area of 67th Avenue and Mountain View Road at about 6:30 p.m. on March 21.
According to investigators, Hawkins was riding a motorcycle northbound on 67th Avenue when he slammed into a vehicle that pulled out infront of him near the intersection.
The driver of the other vehicle, identified as a woman, fled from the scene but was tracked down and transported to a hospital.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
